Coil on Plug on campro



Finally COP is on my campro engine ... Working and going to test the different by tomorrow morning

    IIRC the stock IAFM campros are using COP (persona, saga)

    Max ,,,, Those COP on pesona and sage not design to run fire individual. Still waste spark ...

    Hey Blue,
    I assumed those COP were taken from another car. Is this right? If so, which car? Were those COP PnP or required modification? I'm quite keen to have COP on my Neo. Thanks

    Hi sem .. Yes , COP is from other car . Not plug and play and not meant for stock ecu. Only recommended for aftermarket ecu that got feature to drive the COP fire individually . The COP is from taken from kelisa or viva or L5 . Why stock ecu can not ? I assume this is a question usually ask by others. Stock ecu is designed to drive group fire / waste spark which required high dwell time. Dwell time is referring coil charging time before spark plug can spark. stock ecu's dwell time is 3 - 4 milisec and daihatsu COP can only withstand 2 -2.5 msec . More than that will burn the coil of COP

    Hello blue,
    Mind telling how the COP feels? Any significant power increase? Im driving a neo just like semrz1 brunei... Would also be nice if you quote me the cost of this mod also...

    soo by using this COP you need to use aftermarket ecu right...are we talking about standalone ecu or juz piggyback???
